The Release of A Psalmist Called Asaph!
After much anticipation, i’m delighted to announce the upcoming release of the twelfth and final bookin The Called series on February 28th: A Psalmist Called Asaph. This will be my 28th book, so i thought it would be fun to release it on that date.
i invite you to watch the trailer for the book by clicking this link on my YouTube Channel. CLICK HERE. Most people have told me they are not familiar with him, yet he is listed in the Bible as the writer of several of the Psalms, and is presumed to have collaborated with King David on the Psalms attributed to him.
Since his writings continue to inspire and comfort the church in moments of worship and reflection today, i thought his story was one that we all should know. You can download a free sample of the first three chapters by CLICKING HERE.
The book will be available as an e-book, paperback, large print, and audiobook. Though the release date is the end of the month, you can pre-order it today on Amazon for your Kindle or Kindle app by CLICKING HERE.
Further information about the book is available on my website by CLICKING HERE.

Desperate Dependence
On a further note, God is leading my wife, LaVonne, and i to collaborate on a new book titled Desperate Dependence. It chronicles our current journey through stage 4 lung cancer – mine as the bearer of the condition and hers as the caregiver.
God has shown us if He wills to heal me on this side of heaven, He will, and if not, we will still trust Him. Either way we know He will as He so chooses and we will trust Him. But we have also seen, He is in charge no matter what we are going through, whether it be a financial challenge, a loss of employment, an addiction, a loss, or whatever it is. In all things we walk in desperate dependence upon Him.
This is a story about a faithful God who is leading us through fateful times. We plan to release the book in late spring of this year. Please pray for us as we pen the book even now. We believe God will use it as a great encouragement to so many.
i am particularly excited about you hearing from LaVonne. She is a talented writer, as yet unpublished, but she has important truth on this subject to share that God has shown her over the years. You won’t want to miss it!
We have set up a temporary landing page for you to sign up to receive periodic updates about the book. Please feel free to do so by CLICKING HERE.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support. Please know that ours remain with you as well.
