My December NEWSLETTER to my readers’ group
December 13, 2023
Dear Reader,
Greetings from Richmond, Virginia!
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom He is pleased!” (Luke 2:14 ESV)
i wanted you to know that today i posted the third of the four short stories on my blog for this Advent season. In this week’s story you will hear from a young servant who traveled with the magi to honor the King of Kings. The story is a reminder that at His feet every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!
All four of these stories are my Christmas gift to you as an expression of my thanks for your support and encouragement in this ministry endeavor. Here is a listing of all four of the stories, and in the event you missed any of the previous ones, they are still available to read on my blog or listen to on my podcast.
Part 1 as told by Isaac, the son of Abraham (November 29th)
Part 2 as told by Salome, the friend of Mary (December 6th)
Part 3 as told by Yanzu, the servant of Balthazar (This week - December 13th)
Part 4 as told by Ashriel, the great-grandson of Simeon (December 20th)
You can also access each story at kenwinter.blog. Just click the link, or type it into your web browser, and it will take you to the week’s post. If you would prefer to listen to each of the stories as an audio recording, you can do so by going to my weekly podcast at kenwinter.org/podcast.
And just a quick peak at what’s on the writing desk for 2024 – i am busily at work on several new books. The second book in The Parables series is about finished. A Belated Discovery is scheduled to release this coming spring as we follow the next generation of the Fearsithe family in the timeless truth Jesus taught regarding the Good Samaritan. i can’t wait for you to read this compelling journey through the 1940s and 50s.
Also, i hope to release two more books in The Called series – A Follower Called Mark and A Psalmist Called Asaph. i look forward to telling you more about them in the new year.
As always, i pray all of my books, weekly blog posts and podcast episodes continue to challenge and encourage you in your walk with the Master.
i hope and pray you and yours have a most wonderful Christmas celebrating the advent of the One who came – the King of kings, and the Lord of Lords. And i pray that you also have a joy-filled holiday welcoming in the new year.
Because He came,

But these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in Him you will have life by the power of His name. John 20:31 (NLT)
